Hi I am working on this problem to work out solutions up $x^4$ of $2xy''+(1+x)y'-2y=0$, I have worked out most of it but I am stuck with working out the indicia equation. I have got it into the form $y''+ \frac{1+x}{2x}y'-\frac{2}{2x}y=0$ but i don't know what to do next.
