i would like to ask about complex conjugate part of this equation

$\left | \Psi (x,t) \right |^2= \Psi *\Psi = \psi *e^{+iEt/\hbar}\psi *e^{-iEt/\hbar} = \left | \psi (x) \right |^2$

why $e^{+iEt/\hbar} *e^{-iEt/\hbar} = 1$ ?

I know that $(x+iy)^* = x -iy$

and $\left | z^ \right |^2 = z^*z$

so $(x+iy)^*(x+iy)=x^2+y^2$

Just sum the exponents! You will get $\exp[i\theta]=\cos(\theta)+i\sin(\theta)=1$
