I see that these majors are usually offered separately at universities.
1) Does Pure Math not cover ALL math including statistics?
2) If you choose Pure Math - will there be things you will NOT LEARN in pure math that you are able to learn in Statistics?
3) Do you do PROOFS in Mathematical Statistics like with Pure math?
