For a $\mathbb{Z}$-module $M$ in the field of algebraic numbers, suppose that it has a $\mathbb{Z}$-submodule $N$ which has the same rank with $M$. Shall one deduce that $M=N$? Or can anyone please supply to me some counterexamples?
