My niece is in the 10th grade, and they have to do lot of theorems related to quadrilaterals. And, I was surprised to know that they have to learn by rote some theorems. This has made her feel that maths is the worst subject (though she likes probability) ! So, I was wondering , why study quadrilaterals? How can we relate this geometrical figure to the real world?
thanks

I just curious to goggling "quadrilaterals in daily live" and I found something amazing for me. You can check http://goo.gl/97UO1I
I also found an answer from http://goo.gl/ThJXnl
Meanwhile, I just can give suggestion so that the teacher can teach it in a child fun way. Therefore, the children will not feel that math is the worst subject.
