write the inverse of: $y= 3(4)^{2x+1} + 1$

This is what I did:

$ \begin{align} x=& 3(4)^{2y+1} + 1\\ x-1=& 3(4)^{2y+1} \\ \frac {(x-1)} 3=& (4)^{2y+1}\\ \log((x-1)/3)=& (2y+1)\log(4)\\ \log((x-1)/3)=& 2y\log(4)+\log(4)\\ y=&[\log((x-1)/3)-\log(4)]/2\log(4) \end{align} $

Did I do this correctly?
