How can I visualize and have a feel for parametric curves and regions? I'm taking multivariable calculus and it's been pretty hard for me to visualize parametric equations in $\mathbb{R}^2$, let alone $\mathbb{R}^3$.
Let's take these examples: $\log(xy)\leq 0$, $|x+y|\leq 1$
What am I generally supposed to do in order to visualize parametric curves and regions? Is there a standard method to test and try the function?
